GET READY FOR TOWN MEETING!

The Orleans Spring Town Meeting is on Monday, May 12. To help you be better prepared to participate, OCF is holding a forum on the Town Warrants on May 1, at 5:30 p.m. at the Senior Center. During this 90-minute meeting, Town leaders will provide an overview of the Town Meeting Agenda, share the Finance Committee’s and Selectboard’s recommendations and explain three key articles:  the fire station/town campus concept, Phase III of the sewer project, and the article seeking Town support to allow marijuana shops to use courier services.

Panelists:

• Kim Newman, Town Administrator, will provide the overview of the Town Meeting Agenda, and the status of the fire station/town campus concept.
• Kevin Galligan, Selectboard Member, will share information about Phase III of the sewer project.
• Meff Runyon, Selectboard Member, will present the Selectboard’s support of the warrant articles.
• Elaine Baird, Chair of the Finance Committee, will discuss the Finance Committee’s positions on the warrant articles.

Mary Wright, Board Member, OCF, will moderate the panel discussion.
