Climate Change in Orleans: What Can We Do

as Orleans Residents, to Adapt Homes, Buildings, and Vehicles
for the Impact of Climate Change in Orleans?
Orleans Citizens Forum: Saturday, April 2 10:00  – 11:30 a.m.

This forum is designed to empower all of us to take actions that affect us directly and make us all part of the campaign to help our community and ourselves.

OCF’s February 28, 2022 program looked at the impact of climate change from a global, regional, and town perspective. You can read about and watch the earlier forum by clicking here. As a follow-up, the April 2 forum will hone in on what individuals can do in their homes and on their own properties, and how vehicles are changing to help mitigate the effects of climate change.

Speakers for the April 2 forum will include:

Ned Collier, ICON Architecture, addressing LEED certification and Passive House standards

Maggie Downey, Cape Light Compact to speak on what can be done to increase the use of renewable energy in homes

Meghan Amsler, Cape and Islands Self-Reliance to share new developments regarding electric vehicles.

Join the Zoom meeting by clicking here (by phone 646-558-8656) or watch on Channel 18
