The Orleans Citizens Forum will host a summer forum this year focusing on two issues important to summer and year-round residents alike.
- Key issues for the coming year in Orleans: Select Board Chair Mefford Runyon will give an overview of key issues before the Select Board including the design of the new Fire-Rescue Station, renovating Orleans’ recreation facilities and the residential tax exemption
- Orleans town water supply: Orleans lifestyle and image depend on water. Our speakers will focus on fresh water – where it comes from, how supply and quality of the water supply is maintained, and why drought water restrictions are in place. Panelists will be:
- Tara Lewis – Water Resources Analyst, Cape Cod Commission
- Susan Brown – Assistant Superintendent, Orleans Water Department
- Ginny Farber – Chair, Orleans Board of Water & Sewer Commissioners
Moderator: Roger McDaniel – OCF Board of Directors

Please note: For additional information on topics facing Orleans, we encourage you to attend a town-sponsored informational session on Wednesday, July 15 at 4:00, at Town Hall during the Select Board meeting.
